The Burnsville Quarry
The Kraemer Mining & Materials Burnsville Quarry was opened in 1959 and with its convenient location and quality products, materials are continuing to be used in construction projects throughout the Twin Cities metro area.
At approximately 350 acres in size, the quarry is the single largest in the metro area by volume sold. Kraemer materials are used in road bases, landscaping, concrete, asphalt, radon mitigation and other construction applications. Materials are used to build highways, bridges, airports, office buildings, homes, schools, sidewalks and much more.
The Burnsville Quarry strictly complies with regulations pertaining to the following issues:
Industrial process wastewater discharge (NPDES/SDS) permits from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
Stormwater discharge (NPDES/SDS) permits from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
Groundwater appropriation permit from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
Permit to fill non-jurisdictional wetlands and a wetland mitigation bank from the City of Burnsville/Board of Soil and Water Resources/U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
State Operating Air Permit from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
Kraemer materials comply with all specifications established by governmental agencies and/or specific customer requirements. Sizes range from large Rip-Rap boulders to Manufactured Sand.

May - November: 7:00AM to 4:00PM
