Landscape Rock

Kraemer Mining & Materials offers a wide size range of washed landscape rock, often referred to as Rip Rap, which has been crushed down to size and screened for impurities.  Although the stone has been crushed down in size, it’s still large when compared to other types of crushed rock. The larger diameter of Rip Rap is what makes it essential in many construction and landscaping projects. Size ranges from 4" up to 36" depending on classification

Individual pieces of Rip Rap may weigh from several pounds to several tons. The color ranges from tan to light grey and is a jagged edged rock. 

Rip Rap is used for erosion control, drainage in ditches, storm water projects, constructing driveways, roads and parking lots, culverts, rock walls and railroad ballast.
