Agricultural Lime
Agricultural Lime or Aglime is a soil additive made from pulverized limestone and is used to improve growing conditions for farm fields, gardens and residential lawns.
Soil that has become too acidic as the result of frequent crop cycles or acid rain makes it difficult for nutrients to be absorbed through a plant’s root system or even for water to fully penetrate the earth. Due to the high levels of calcium carbonate, introducing Aglime to acidic soil will neutralize the soils's pH levels and improve plant health.
Kraemer’s Aglime is tested and rated by the state Department of Agriculture to determine its Effective Neutralizing Power (ENP).
