TITLE: Full Time/Temporary Scale Operator LOCATION: Burnsville, MN
General Summary
The Weighmaster performs accurate and efficient truck scaling of aggregate materials associated with the company's quarry activities. Provides quality customer service assisting customers in decision making and problem solving to ensure customer satisfaction. Prompt response time of phone calls, direction to stockpiles within the quarry, efficient travel directions, and appropriate dumping instructions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Percentage of time
80%: Monitors out-going aggregate products and tracks sales through scale system.
10%: Provides quality customer service via CB radio, phone requests and counter sales.
5%: Data entry of sales orders and maintenance of associated documentation.
5%: Assists with the coordination and dispatching of deliveries.
Frequent Requirements
Operate the JWS scale system and dispatch loads.
Process cash sales and administer sales load tickets.
Assist haulers and customers on products and delivery requirements.
Take phone orders providing quality customer service.
Perform data entry of sales orders.
Monitor company and CB radios in optimizing material loading and plant operations.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Desired
Knowledge of rock products and their suitability for various applications.
Effective communication skills with outside contractors and internal team members.
Ability to deal with multiple issues in a fast-paced environment that occur simultaneously.
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of the Metro-area.
Computer literacy and basic mathematical skills.
Flexibility of hours with a potential of work on Saturday.

TITLE: Sales Administrative Associate LOCATION: Burnsville
General Summary
The Sales Administrative Associate ensures quality customer service by assisting the aggregate Sales Manager in quoting customers projects, monitoring results, providing sales quote follow-up and maintaining customer sales and product marketing information. As a dispatch team member, fielding detailed sales orders, coordinating the timely loading and delivery of aggregate products, ensuring efficient and profitable product weight-out and delivery and maximizing the effectiveness of JWS software are key responsibilities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the aggregate Sales Manager on quoting projects and quote follow-up.
Collect customer feedback regarding quote follow up, market intelligence and project specific information.
Generate sales reports, charts, graphs, monitor trends and forecast.
Monitor trucking rates and product pricing to ensure accurate billing.
Use and maintain quoting software; management data population.
Serve as a back up to the dispatch department as needed.
Collect market data including tax data by county and competitor intelligence.
Provide superior customer service while obtaining customer orders entering data into the JWS system and fulfilling order deliveries.
Assist with JWS technical support.
Works with Plant Superintendent to resolve loading and operational issues.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Construction or industry experience preferred.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others.
Strong decision making and/or problem solving skills.
Strong analytical skills are preferred to make quick, accurate decisions in a rapidly changing environment.
Computer literacy and basic mathematical skills required.
