BURNSVILLE, Minn.- Kraemer Mining & Materials, Inc. today announced the signing of a conditional use permit to mine granite from a site the company has leased in Bradbury Township, Minn.
The permit allows for the removal of approximately 30 million tons of granite. Kraemer Materials anticipates that production and sales will begin in the second quarter of 2005. The material from the site is considered Class A aggregate material by the State of Minnesota, the highest quality aggregate type available for use as a construction material. The reserve is estimated to last 20 years.
